Many cultures believe that names can influence a person's destiny or character. Over the years, I find I saved names for just the right horse, in particular, two names stand out to me for two very special horses; that of Replicated and that of Legacy. I did not know which foal would get which name. Billy, DGS Replicated, appeared the year that we lost Indian Artifacts. He was big, gorgeous, great-minded and talented. He embodied the traits of his sire, almost a clone. But, to me, cloning is not what breeding is about. Yes, repeating success is, but its more than that, it is about reaching for the stars and constantly improving our line.
What is really exciting is finding ourselves today with one of DGS Replicated sons; so deserving and having grown into and earned that very special name he was given all those years ago: Legacy. DGS Legacy is a young stallion that DeGraff Stables is proud to present for mare owner's consideration beginning 2026 via frozen semen.

Big, strong, versatile and great-minded DGS Legacy abilities are showcased by his extensive show record. 2025 NSBA World Show was super exciting: Open High Point Champion, World and Reserve World Title and 3 Bronzes. Fantastic.
DGS Replicated had 3 full brothers and 1 full sister to show, that were highly decorated plus another full sister is the dam of multiple AQHA and NSBA World Champion/AHQA Reserve World Super Horse; DGS Vintage and a third full sister is the dam to PtHA Reserve World Champion; State Of The Art. The dam to DGS Legacy, PR Real Quiet from the Pryor Ranch breeding program offers an equally long line of exciting performers and producers.

Foals are eligible for nomination in the the NSBA Stallion Incentive Fund, the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity, APHA Breeders Trust and many State Futurity Programs.​
